BCM® Grip Mod 1 - Black

As most have reported, this (mod1) grip is not plush and cushy or soft and rubbery, or covered in satin and velvet for soft office hands. It is a combat grip that will grab the meat on your hands or your gloves for a no-slip grip. You get grease, oil, sweat on it... you wipe it off. Mud, sand or dirt and grit on it .. you wash it off with some water or don't and carry on. I have medium (large in gloves sizes) hands and the mod 1 is just right. I noticed its narrower and LIGHTER than the MIAD and MOE grips and has a slight palm swell and less rake so if you are used to those MP grips it will be akward at first but after a few mags I think you will apreciate its design. The hinged bottom door is the icing on this great grip.

I really want to like this grip, but as of now it's a decent grip. It seems to be a solid grip, you can get a good purchase on the grip due to the texture, but....it does not fit my hand well. i wanted to depart from the MOE grip and try something different, but it hasn't really grown on me. i'll run it a little longer and see if it will feel any better to me.
**REVISED REVIEW** after putting 100's of rounds down range with the bcm gunfighter grip mod1, i had to revise my original review. it's a great grip. i have run my rig hard and i'll tell you what, the gf grip does the job and more. i just had to get used to it is all. the grip is gtg. buy with confidence. you can bet my next build is going to get a gf grip.

It's all in the angle... YUP, you read right. I had a Magpul MIAD, and loved it... BUT, the angle is too much, and my wrist would pop after continues fire. This grip is perfect for that. It may not be as beefy as the MIAD, or other grips, but it's light, has great storage for misc. crap, and comfortable... Plus it's made by the best!

Just arrived. Very tight going on my Spike's lower. I have never liked the A2grip, thanks for modernizing a good weapon. Fast service too. After some use, I find it to be the most comfortable grip. My wrist is in a more natural position when on target or muzzle down.

I wanted something different than the Magpul that pretty much everyone has. I was pleasantly surprised with this grip. It's high quality, feels great in the hand, does not slip at all, and has a more vertical angle. I also like that the bottom hatch is hinged instead of popping out like the Magpul. This is a great grip for any AR platform.

This grip has become a favorite of mine. The reduced angle allows for a comfortable hold on the weapon and the grip texture is just right. I have big hands. So while this grip is a definite improvement over an A2 grip, i do wish the back strap was a bit larger. But overall, this grip is top notch in fit, finish, and materials. If you're listening BCM, how about a Mod 2 Gunfighter grip with a larger back strap for us shooters with larger than average hands?

Im extremely satisfied with the gunfighter mod 1 grip. It's great that BCM provides the inserts for those with enhanced trigger guards. Install was easy, BCM provides a slotted screw! As for the grip itself, the reduced angle makes it a very comfortable grip. It's not cheap plastic. By far the most ergonomic grip I've come across. If you're considering replacing your stock A2 grip, this is the one you need to replace it with! As always, BCM delivered extremely fast and at a fair cost!

i was a little skeptical as to the gain in weapons manipulation when i first heard about this grip but when i was ordering a few other things i figured why not. let me tell u i absolutely love this grip and will be putting one on all of my AR style rifles. the improved angle allows me to hold the weapon more naturally and i feel i have more support and can operate the trigger much better. Another A++ for BCM

This is a very good grip if you've always thought the standard AR-15 grip and most of the other options out there are just too angled for your taste. This grip is a little small in my hand, but works well with gloves too so it works out.
