LowVz - BLACK

Single-edged 2.75 inch blade in N690Co steel for great edge retention, 3" handle. Contoured handle promotes consistent tip-to-target contact. G10 panels, and jimping at spine and hilt increase grip adhesion. The black finish is achieved with a process called Liquid Nitrocarburizing.

Belt clips are made by GCode. Manufactured of the highest-quality 100-series Kydex, each sheath is expertly formed. Outer edges are trimmed and buffed to a comfortable finish to minimize hot spots. Clip incorporates negative-angle design to force the sheath closer to the body. This improves the conceal-ability of the knife without increasing bulk. In addition, the sheaths' multi grommet/slot pattern make it easy to customize your method of attachment.Meet the designer/trainer: Four men, one idea. promote better blades and blade skills to serious practitioners.

Colonel Blade Low Vz-PRO - Black field Review

Like many, I use a knife as a backup weapon. Since my training on edged weapons is lacking, so is my skill. The Colonel punch oriented design helps my confidence that knife could perform if it was called on. Police work seems to have changed and my weapon choices, training, etc., has taken on more importance than any time in my experience, the Colonel gives me capability now as my skill level catches up.

Best defense blade on the market

When I first considered the concept of this blade I researched it, and its competitors, thoroughly - BCM, Al Salvitti, and his team put together some great videos on YouTube about it. It didn't take long to realize that the Colonel has a significant "edge" over the alternatives. The idea of a blade with this shape and ergonomics is ingenious, and the Colonel executes it better than any other. With its compact handle it carries well in hand and in pocket - my preferred carry method for it. The grip and angle on the blade have a very natural feel and direction, inspiring confidence that if you ever had to use it under duress in a defense scenario, it would land where you intend and inflict very effective stopping power. I intend on getting the companion trainer and honing my skills with it, but honestly I hardly feel it will take much time since the fundamentals of the design make it feel so natural in hand that it would be nearly impossible to not be effective with it in an engagement.

    EDC knife of choice.

Easy to learn and manipulate if using in self defense and not familiar with knife fighting techniques. Completely natural in the hand. Great quality. Great price.

    Good piece of gear

I had the opportunity to see the full size colonel at training and saw the quality and build of it and was sold. BCM was out of the full size but the low vz suits me as well. unfortunately i missed the trainer, while supplies last...
Recommend for anyone looking for solid last defense.

    what makes America great...

Flawless process from start to finish. The knife is as to be expected...squared away. I appreciated the training blank to work on my technique on my Dummy. Really like the way the sheath swings to fit in just the right spot. Well thought out product. Climb To Glory.
