BCM® Extractor Spring Upgrade Kit

The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    A simple, inexpensive fix

    Installed the kit & cured the FTE problem. This was a first time order from Bravo; I was impressed with their super-fast service & shipping.

    BCM Outstanding Service and Products!

    I have started building AR 15 rifles as a hobby. I have gotten VERY used to suppliers not shipping orders for a week, two weeks or more... I order my fist product from BCM on a Sunday evening... this extractor spring upgrade kit. It was shipped the next morning. I had it in a few days! Very few businesses do this. They offer top quality products and top notch service. They have won me over as a faithful customer!!

    Seems like a problem solver

    I was having a lot of extraction issues where the casing would still be partially or mostly in the chamber after firing. The extractor was just giving up or something. After a pretty nasty jam I looked into the issue and saw some posts about getting a stronger extractor spring.

    I found some springs at another site, but the kit at BCM was half the price and I needed an excuse to get a new charging handle so I grabbed the kit.

    I just tested my gun yesterday with this kit installed and knock on wood it appears to be fixed. I did not put in the o ring.

    Seems to have worked for me

    I have been to the range 3 times in the past 2 weeks now. I have yet to clean or even drop some oil on the bolt. Last week my gun refused to eject steel case (Tula) just as soon as it got a little hot (about 60 rounds). So I finally decided I had enough and ordered this spring kit.

    Took about 1 minute to install the whole kit and I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I ran another 210 rounds of Tula non-stop before I decided that this new spring worked.

    This could be just a fluke, but you can bet that every bolt I own gets this spring kit just in case it's not.

    Cheap and easy addon well worth the cost!!!

    I recently made an order and had heard good things about these and for five bucks, why not.
    I installed it in a BCG from an M&P Sport. It now slings shells with authority!

    Completely satisfied

    I don't normally write reviews but I am so happy with my purchase that I had to. I ordered this monday evening, received it thursday morning, the spring fits perfectly and is at least four times as strong as the oem spring. BCM, didn't have to include stickers but they did, that tells me they care about going the extra step for their customers. Bye bye FTE, hello BCM!

    Very high quality

    After removing my bcg i noticed my extractor already had a o-ring setup "s&w m&p", but after further examination i noticed bcm's setup to be a much higher quality, the spring was much stiffer. all and all has to be the best 5 bucks you can spend on a rifle that could save your life one day.

    Absolutely the best solution!

    I just recently purchased a used Carbon 15 Pistol and first time out to the range experienced multiple extraction failures. After installing this upgrade, I have gone through HUNDREDS of rounds with absolutely NO FAILURE TO EXTRACT. I am now a true believer. Thank you Bravo Company for making a fantastic product.
