BCM® Extractor Spring Upgrade Kit

The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    Stag Jamming

    I tried 8 different kinds of ammo and talked to many different "experts". My brand new Stag always jammed. Put this kit in. I have had no problems since. If your AR is jamming trying to eject shells, give this a try. Check out youtube to install...new spring is way stiffer!!!

    Good part but high shipping

    The cheapest shipping method cost more than the part. There ought to be a cheaper method available when ordering a extractor spring.

    Nice Upgrade

    The kit came with everything you could need to complete the job. I purchased one set to upgrade/replace the extractor spring on my Spikes BCG and a second just to have spare parts (always a good idea). Spring gives a nice consistent ejection and I have had no issues since I installed.

    It's amazing what 5 bucks will do sometimes

    First time at the range with my "Palmetto State Armory M4 Assault Rifle 16-inch 556" I had way too many failure to eject's. So did some searching and came across this part. Also the awesome Youtube video showing how to replace the old one. Second time at the range and zero failure to eject's using same ammo. Thank you BCM, I'll be back if I need anything else. Now I love my AR15.
