I haven't run it yet but it really not much stiffer that the one that came in my bolt kinda disappointed if I still continue to have problems with this spring installed I'll probably put the extractor in from my tromix 458 bolt because that one is actually stiff
I already have multiple packs of these and BCM is my #1 go to for spare parts of my AR-15s.
great quality, fast delivery, customer service out of this world!!, thx BCM!
I upgraded all of my carbines with these now! They all run flawlessly!
Easy install. Used a vise grip to apply pressure and place the pin. Much better grip on the 223
Bought a used BCG and had tons of failures to eject from a 10.5" upper. The spring kit solved that issue. Only gripe is tax and shipping cost more than the kit - $5 to ship is a bit much for this item.
Case slippage or failures to extract? This is your ticket. Remove your BCG, pull the bolt, drift the extractor pin and replace your old springs and post with this setup. BCM kit is the best you will find. Spring is perfect fit with the post insert. Rubber butt hole is an upgrade and may not be needed but if you do use it, it will be a tight fit on the case rim. Reassemble in reverse order and your good to go. Keep spares because your butter finger teammate will lose his rig in the sand. Just sayin'. Peace brothers.
