The ALG Defense Advanced Combat Trigger (ACT) is designed for those shooters where tradition, value and regulatory concerns are of primary importance. The pull of the ACT is very similar to a standard mil-spec trigger, however it is sharper and the grittiness of the stock trigger pull has been removed while the traditional reliability of a stock trigger remains. The pull weight is not lower than the M4/M16 minimum weight specification of 5.5lbs.

Note about HardLubing:

HardLubing is ALG's term for electroless Nickel plating with an integral modifier to the base nickel plate. Either Boron or Teflon is used to enhance surface hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance and also create favorable tribological properties of the trigger components.

Testing has shown that differential coating of the trigger parts contributes to the sharpness of the ACT's single stage pull. The trigger component is plated with Nickel-Boron which has a high surface hardness combined with excellent wear resistance. The color is a pleasing matte light grey that may be painted on non-functional surfaces if the shooter so desires (such as the trigger bow that is visible outside the lower receiver). The hammer, disconnector and trigger/hammer pins are plated with Nickel-Teflon which combines a low coefficient of friction with good wear resistance. The Teflon impregnation colors the metal a mottled, greyish/green. Parts coated with Nickel-Teflon cannot be painted. Both coatings are highly corrosion resistant eliminating the oil seal of traditional phosphated firearm components.

    Alg ACT trigger

    I must say I am very surprised by this trigger , I have an SSAE and love , but I picked this up for another build , it's a milspec design so u know it's reliable , pull weight is around 5.2 for me and there is no creep at all , it is a big difference from a stock milspec trigger , must be the Teflon / boron coating that makes it so smooth , by far the best trigger you can buy for under $100 maybe even$150 and it's only $65!!! This should come stock in all BCM rifles !!!!!

    Sweet upgrade!

    As a Chicago police officer a personal carbine can't have a trigger pull under 5.0 lbs so this is a great option at around 5.5lbs. Very smooth, no grittyness, little to no creep. If you shoot a lot you will notice a big difference from a stock trigger set. Great trigger upgrade for the price.

    Outstanding Customer Service!

    I ordered two of these triggers for my AR's and they were great. But what I really want to do is to commend BCM for their absolutely outstanding service. I ordered during the busy Christmas season. I put a note on my order asking that the triggers be shipped as soon as possible since I was heading to Front Sight in just a few days. BCM shipped those triggers that SAME DAY! I could not have been more pleased. When I need parts and accessories in the future, BCM will be the first place I'll go.

    Worth every cent.

    I bought one for my DPMS LR308, installed it, and came straight back here to buy two more for my other AR's.

    You can spend a lot more and get a lot more, however for $65 this is all the trigger this hobby shooter needs.

    There is zero grittiness, pull is smooth and consistent, doesn't compound, and breaks clean and sharp.

    No, it's not a Geissele. It is pretty damn nice and is 1/5th the cost.

    TRIGGER JOB IN A PACKAGE....

    I OWN 4 OF THESE, AND IF THEY WERE ON THE MARKET WHEN I BOUGHT MY TIMNEY'S, I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THESE FOR MY OTHER GUNS ALSO. I MAINLY WANTED A CLEAN BREAK AND WASN'T WORRIED ABOUT A SUPER LIGHT TRIGGER PULL, AND FOR THE PRICE, THESE ARE AMAZING. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LIGHT TARGET TYPE TRIGGER, THIS ISN'T IT. BUT IF YOU WANT A GOOD MIL-SPEC WITH AN AMAZING CLEAN BREAK FOR 65 BUCKS, THIS IS IT....OH BY THE WAY, BUY TWO, BECAUSE ONCE YOU PUT THIS IN YOUR GUN,YOU'LL WANT ANOTHER. PULL DOESN'T FEEL LIKE 6 LBS, BUT YOU COULD ALWAYS CHANGE OUT THE SPRINGS. BUT I WANT MY GO TO GUNS TO GO BANG EVERYTIME, FOR ME THEY ARE PERFECT AS THEY COME. GEISSELE NOW HAS BOTH THE HIGH END MARKET AND THE LOW END MARKET, THANKS BCM FOR ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT !
