Super Semi-Automatic (SSA®) Trigger Description

The Geissele Super Semi-Automatic (SSA®) trigger is a semi-automatic only version of Geissele Automatics’s Super Select-Fire trigger. The SSA is a non-adjustable combat trigger that is a precision two-stage trigger and allows precise and accurate trigger control. The SSA’s two-stage design allows the trigger to be light enough for accurate and precise shots, but forgiving enough for CQB. The SSA is safety certified by Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center. It is recommended for demanding applications such as Law Enforcement use, Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and mid-range carbine work.

Please note, Geissele's triggers are designed for mil-spec AR15/M4 carbine rifles. Geissele's AR15 triggers are not compatible with the Sig MPX/MCX weapons or Pistol Caliber Carbine AR15/M4 variants.  Using them in these platforms will void the warranty.

    Combat Trigger

    Great Combat Trigger. The trigger pull is light, A little heavy for a marksman or match trigger. But I love it on my general use carbine. The difference in stages is very noticeable and it breaks very clean.

    I would recommend this trigger.

    Almost live up to their claims!

    Just bought 2 of these to replace the stock NM triggers in my RRA lowers. I never messed with the trigger group in an AR, but installed the first one in about 20 mins, second one in about 10 mins. No gunsmith needed, just take your time and read instructions carefully. Both triggers had pulls averaging 5lbs., 7 ozs., using a Lyman digital trigger scale. A little heavier than the advertised 4.5lbs. Thats the reason for the four stars, and not five. I hope the triggers "wear in", and the trigger pulls come down a pound. I may try tweaking the trigger spring to lower the poundage. Outside of the pull weight, the first stage is very smooth, and it is VERY obvious when you hit the second stage....trigger movement stops. Its like hitting a wall! Second stage does break very clean, with no perceptible creep or overtravel. A very good trigger for the money!
