What started as a custom design built for his Force Recon platoon during a deployment
became a lifelong mission for Travis Haley to build a rifle sling that works around the
end user, and not the other way around.
The D3 Rifle Sling can be run in single point or two point configuration and has been
designed to transition between the two in moments. The sling includes two, positive
locking QD swivels and features Haley's proven, SDI single hand quick adjustment
The sling also debuts a low profile pad, inspired by climbing harnesses created by the
world's leading mountaineering companies. A 5-layer laminated construction sealed
with stretch woven materials, the pad provides stability and comfort without adding
weight or bulk.
The D3 Rifle Sling is the result of over 15 years of continuous use, revision and
improvement, delivering a versatile platform intuitive to the point where the rifle
becomes a natural extension of the body.

    Good, as usual

What's there not to like. The rush of buying gun shit never gets old. BCM makes it easy. Ordered the new Haley Strategic sling and it was at my house in three days. As far as the sling goes... As soon as I fit it to my body I knew it was the best sling I've ever owned/used. Then I clipped in my DD and climaxed all in my mag well. So.... Yeah, good experience. BCM, good move on stocking Travis's shit.

Haley Strategic D3 vs. Magpul MS4 QD

The weight is the first thing I noticed about the D3 sling. At 5oz on my scale, is considerably lighter in weight than my Magpul MS4 QD sling at 9.2oz. The second thing I noticed was the comfort. The MS4 often rubbed my neck raw when I did a lot of transition drills. The MS4 is very stiff and felt like it was cutting into my neck sometimes. The D3 feels softer in comparison and I noticed it was more comfortable on my neck. The MS4 is a little more adjustable to the user than the D3, but I didn't have any issues adjusting the D3 to my preferences. The MS4 is considerably less expensive than the D3 as well. So far, I'm really liking the D3. The weight and comfort justifies the cost in my opinion. I am no operator nor do I have a lot of experience with other slings, so my opinion does not hold much weight. Hopefully this is helpful to someone. God bless!

    Excellent Sling Great Service

This order arrived so quickly I didn't immediately know what had come in the mail. Bravo to Bravo's shop for such a fast turnaround. The sling is very well made, fits snugly and adjusts easily. And the price is reasonable.
