The "F" marked forged front sight base is a hard product to find. Mil-Spec for rifles issued to the troops require taller front sight bases on all flat top AR rifles. (.750")
Designed to match the height of Mil-Spec height rear iron sights.
These are new and are not yet drilled for taper pins, and should be installed by a qualified gunsmith.
This includes front sight base only. (Not included are front sight post assembly, sling swivel assembly, and taper pins.)

    Correct Front Sight Tower

    This is an excellent quality front sight base which fits correctly for A4 & M4 Flat Top Uppers. I installed this base with correct MIL-spec 2/0 taper pins using a #29 drill bit and correct taper pin reamer. Nothing compares to the strength of this front sight when pinned in place.

    Perfect fit and finish.

    This sight is not drilled for taper pins but I knew that when I purchased. I intended to drill and tap set screws to fix the FSB in place on my 14.5" barrel because my barrel was not drilled for taper pins anyway. Worked like a charm and now I don't have to have taper pin holes visible on the FSB. It looks clean.

    Great machining on the FSB. It is quality.
