The "F" marked forged front sight base is a hard product to find. Mil-Spec for rifles issued to the troops require taller front sight bases on all flat top AR rifles. (.625")
Designed to match the height of Mil-Spec height rear iron sights.
These are new and are not yet drilled for taper pins, and should be installed by a qualified gunsmith.
This includes front sight base only. (Not included are front sight post assembly, sling swivel assembly, and taper pins.)

    The FSB showed up quickly in typical BCM fashion. Was exactly as pictured. 0.625 inside diameter, F marked, & nicely parkerized. Not much else to say. I sent it out w/ my 11.5" barrel to have it drilled and pinned. Looking forward to it's return.

    Looks good, All steel, the features are machined accurately. I'm heavily modifying this piece for LR-308 , Long sight radius with a heavy barrel. This piece is a good starting point.
