Based on the SOPMOD designed bolt upgrade and rebuild package, this kit is designed to breathe new life into your bolt assembly. The bolt assembly is the heart of your AR15 rifle system and preventative maintenance used by professions insures these systems keep running even under the harshest of conditions.
This is a great spare parts kit to keep your AR15, M16, M4 running in the field.
This kit includes:
  • Extractor made to USGI specs (shot peened)
  • Extractor pin
  • BCM® Extractor Spring (chrome silicon, heat treated & stress relieved, shot peened)
  • 3 USGI Gas Rings
  • Crane Ind O-Ring (Mil-Spec)
  • Black Extractor Insert

    Easy fix back in action

    I’m not a gunsmith by any stretch of the imagination but I was able to get my gun back up and running in 30 minutes. I’m ordering an extra to keep in my bag just in case. Easy fix at a very reasonable price.

    Bolt Mod spring and extractor upgrade

    As with all BCM accessories, perfect fit and function. The spring upgrade alone is worth the price of the kit, but knowing I have a set of gas rings and a new extractor when needed - and they are all BCM - is icing on the cake. I have ALL BCM furniture and available accessories, from stock, to grip to aftermarket foregrip to mounts, springs and a BCM charging handle. So to call me a fanboy is probably an understatement.

    The first upgrade you need.

    This kit is a must for an upgrade or as a spare for backup. This is the best extractor I've found. I only use the insert and spring it's been working flawless through a "few" rounds.
