Featuring the same industry leading barrel nut and lock up design as originally introduced on BCM's evolutionary KMR handguard, the MCMR Series of handguards gives the shooter modularity in the M-LOK platform.

This proprietary patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691), includes a mechanical index to the 12:00 rail and positions mounting hardware to mitigate the movement caused by heat generated by the weapon system.

For load bearing accessories (bipod mounts, sling mounts, vertical grips, barricade supports), we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs.

    Great handguard

    This is my second BCM MCMR handguard & I do love the how they feel, very slim & light weight. All the mlok slots are a bonus. I think my only gripe is installing/uninstalling once it gets over the barrel nut it’s a pain to put on & extremely difficult to remove.

    13” M Lok Handgaurd FDE.

    The ceracoat finish on this flawless and seems to be put on nice and thick. Looks great. Did not chip or peel when installing MLok accessories. Tough finish. Another great job from BCM.

    Solid Rail

    This rail is great. Installation was simple thanks to the detailed instructions. Once mounted the rail feels sturdy and sleek. Light and LA5 will be mounted to this, and I have no concerns about durability.

    Finally got it!

    This product is very hard to get as BCM only makes a few every so often and they sell out fast, like 2 days fast. I literally went to the site 3 times a day to make sure I didn't miss the In Stock tag. Having waited a couple months, it finally became available and I got one. It's exactly as described on the website and looks great on my BCM rifle. I couldn't be happier with the quality. With that said, swapping out the original BCM handguard was fairly simple, as long as you have the right tools. You will absolutely need an upper receiver vise block and heat gun. This is both to remove the original and replace with the new. I have both so the process was fairly straightforward. If you don't have these tools, go to an armorer or dealer for help. If you're familiar with the AR-15 platform you could buy these tools and DIY too. If you DIY, please watch every YouTube video on replacing this part. There are several very good videos. You can mess up the handguard if not done properly because it only goes on one way. Hope this helps.

    Great Equipment

    Bought this to replace the 10.5 inch i had on my ar and it looks great!!! Works GREATER!!!! Lightweight and Built to LAST. Run & Gun tested!! A++++++

    Very hard to install

    This is the most difficult hand guard to install that I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Even when using hot and cold with a rubber mallet it will not fully seat, and good luck getting it off. Great to use if you can get it on.

    BCM MLOK FDE 13"

    Such a nice quality rail. And in my opinion, the perfect shade of FDE. Doesn't get as unbearably warm in the hot sun during range days when they've been sitting in direct sunlight opposed to the black version. Big fan.
