When assembling an AR you MUST have a good quality barrel nut wrench. I did not at first but soon after trying to attach my 1st AR barrel I knew the cheap one I had was not going to work the way it should. I googled the better ones & found this one & simply, it works.
Have a couple Keymod rails, and finally decided to get into the KMR mounting system game with a custom SBR build. Very happy with the non-proprietary nature of this platform and the BCM wrench worked perfect on the V7 titanium nut under my cut-down and custom Cerakoted Bootleg hand guard.
Ditto for the BCM cross bolts and V7 titanium clamp blocks...perfect interface.

I bought this for the receiver extension castle nut functionality and it works wonderfully in this regard. One thing to note, it does not fit my KAK pistol receiver extension, but that does not detract from this tools awesomeness.

This is the third wrench that I've purchased from BCM (one for my friend, brother, and self). This wrench works efficiently (easy one-handed manipulation of the castle-nut) when hand-assembling the buffer tube, then easily transitions to the breaker bar/torque wrench portion of the install. I think that this is a very handy wrench for a very reasonable price.
