Installation Instructions:

 

* Locate the forward position of the mount, indicated by the arrow marking, located underneath the sling mount, arrow towards the muzzle.

 

* With supplied Torx wrench, loosen (counter clockwise) the two mounting screws enough so the assembly can drop in and slide forward into the desired mounting position of the rail system.

 

* With the KMSM in on the KeyMod rail, and the screws still loose, insert your QD sling swivel into the KMSM. This will insure the sling mount hole in the KMSM is lined up correctly with the hole in the KeyMod slot on your handguard, so your swivel will fully seat correctly.

 

* Tighten screws (clockwise) until firmly secured (18-20 in-lbs). Remove your QD sling swivel if desired.

 

* For better long term secured mounting, use blue thread locking compound on mounting screw thread only.

    The QD swivel is low profile and I love it!!!

    The QD swivel is low profile and I love it!!! The swivel does its job and just works great. The installation is a little tricky just due to the fact that Lip the front of the swivel mount actually hooks over into the next keymod hole And not into the mounting holes. If you try to insert the lip in the same key mod holes as the mounting screws it wont work. This part is not in the direction. The mount AAA+++++ and bad ass!!! Buy it.

    Q D sling mount

    This product allows for quick transitions between 1 and 2 point sling options. Very little real estate is used up, and it's built solid. I recommend getting the Q D sling mount to anyone thinking about going over to a 1 to 2 point sling. I run the Magpul and have used the D3. It works great, and I'm glad I got it.
