The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    Extractor upgrade

    The BCM extractor revived a tired bolt for me and made my rifle function again. Very satisfied!

    BCM Extractor Spring Upgrade Kit - 3 Pack

    A couple of my AR's developed inconsistent ejection. No failures to eject, just spraying brass inconsistently. Neither had the spring insert of the O-ring, so I thought I'd try the easiest fix first. Issue solved. This is a must upgrade if your extractor does not have either the spring insert of O-ring. Even if you don't need 3, buy the 3-pack. I saves a few bucks and you'll have a spare when you need it.

    Replaced my extractor spring with the bcm extractor spring upgrade kit. Did not use the o ring that came with it. Solved my extraction issue with my 7.62x39 ar15. Easy installation and fast shipping.

    BCM Extractor Spring Upgrade Kit

    Great product, replaced all my bolts with the BCM upgrade kit. Could see and feel the difference on all the bolts during install and use.
    Even on new none BCM bolts I would recommend the upgrade.

    we're gonna need more of these

    fairly sure the extractor spring buffer was a made to misplace item from an engineering standpoint. replaced the one I bounced off a few walls with a new BCM buffer. works well in a P.S.A. bolt with the P.S.A. extractor spring and P.S.A. o-ring. have NOT tried the BCM extractor spring yet though. can only vouch for the buffer.
