The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    Fixed issues with 300 Blackout extraction

    Spring upgrade worked as written. Completely resolved my issues with ejection of the 300 Blackout round. Will be adding this to all of my AR’s.

    Fixed my extractor issues on my Beowulf

    I was having some failure to extract and stovepipe issues on my 16” Beowulf build. I tried spitting on it, swearing at it, and nothing worked until this little springy doodad came along and fixed her right up.

    The fix for failure to extract

    My carbine has run just fine for a few years but recently during a trip to the range it failed to extract and double fed repeatedly. I ordered this kit and restored the gun to operation. The install was quick and easy. The kit is reasonably priced and an essential part to keep in ones parts kit.

    Extractor spring kit

    I purchased these kits for my rifles. I was having trouble with the gun not cycling.
    I installed the extractor spring and also a adjustable gas block. The rifle is functioning properly now. At this point I'm not sure which item fixed it but hey the springs are great. Thanks for the great product and service.
