The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    Just works

    Had some issues ejecting in my AR and bought this and new gas rings. Just got back from the range and everything works. What more can you ask for.

    Still in the testing phase, but my 10.3 AR 5.56 issue is fixed. I also pre-installed on my AR 7.62x39 and no failure to extracts.

    Fixed my FTE issue (mostly)

    My AR was having failure to eject issues, every other round would jam. Didn't seem to be a gas issue, so the extractor spring was the first thing I replaced. Now the gun only jams 1 round every other mag or so (new AR .223 pistol build) so hopefully after a few hundred rounds it will be good to go. Thanks for the great product!

    Just what I needed.

    You'd be surprised how hard it is to find bolt parts in stock and reasonably priced! I sent an AR bolt out to get a finish applied and got it sent back stripped! this was reasonably priced and tuned it right up, and shipped fast as hell.
