The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    Great Product

    Noticeably longer springs than standard type, makes for very tight bolt fit.

    Solid product

    I had a blown primer that caused my AR to have really weak extraction with an ejection pattern that was pushing cases very weakly at 1 o'clock. After inspecting the BCG, the extractor spring was smashed flat and I could barely move the extractor. After installing the kit my rifle is back up and running with a strong ejection pattern at 3 o'clock. BCM had good shipping time to me as well. No complaints.

    Extractor spring upgrade

    Did the upgrade and am very pleased.. Shot 200 rounds today and a marked improvement. This product should be standard on all extractors.

    Perfect upgrade

    I ordered the 3 pack kit and I upgraded my AR and AR pistol extractors, definitely a must for shorter barreled firearms but decide to do this on my 16" AR as well. Noticed a considerable change on the use of steel ammo after this upgrade (used steel to test the reliability of this upgrade) I has zero issues with over 300 rds. Perfect product!
