Please note:

The combustion gasses exiting the muzzle of a rifle are extremely hot, traveling at extreme velocity, and contains not only burning gasses but solid particles of unburnt powder as well as metals from the projectile. Due to the inherent nature of steel, it is nearly impossible to survive unaffected in this environment when directly exposed. The high temperatures begin to make the steel more malleable, which allows solid particles and pressure waves to deform and erode surfaces upon exit.

 

Due to the new and unique design of the BCM® compensators, the user may notice small pits on the interior surfaces of the compensator. This is normal. Most designs do not impede the exit flow very much, while the BCM® approach is exactly opposite. These surfaces are specifically designed to operate within the environment found at the muzzle, and are intended to allow significant amounts of deterioration before any loss of performance is seen/felt. These compensators have been tested through many thousands of rounds, and while the wear surfaces may give pause to some users, trust when we say that it's normal.

    One damn awesome Compensator

    This was my first purchase of an aftermarket compensator. After putting around six hundred rounds down range in training, I can definitely say, the product exchange between my stock A2 birdcage and this compensator is discernible. Awesome product, money well spent!!

    Muzzle blast

    I have one of these on a 16” gun and decided to give one a try on my 10.5” patrol rifle. The muzzle flash is comparable to having no muzzle device at all. I’ve tried several different rounds as far as brand and grains but the flash is still very big and blinds me when shooting at night. I’m thinking it may be something else contributing to the flash since I’ve seen these on sbr’s with no flash whatsoever. For the time being, my standard A-2 flash hider works best but I’ll be getting another rifle to throw this on.

    This is my first purchase from Bravo Company, the result of my son's recommendation relative to his numerous purchases. I was in the market for a compensator for my AR and purchased the above-cited item on my son's recommendation. I am delighted with the ordering process and the prompt shipping of the compensator. My only disappointment was that the enclosed transfers/stickers regarding Bravo Company we not usable...not due to your fault. Our subdivision utilizes "group mailboxes" located throughout the subdivision and a neighbor picked up my mail and left it on my porch exposed to rain. My son uses all the transfers/stickers he receives on his ammo boxes and I'd like to do the same. Therefore, would you mind sending me a few of each.     Great For Rebuilding an Old Upper

    I'm very happy with my purchase. I recommend buying complete BCM uppers. However, if you're rebuilding an old upper like I currently am, the BCMGUNFIGHTER Compensator MOD 0 is an essential part of the all-BCM overhaul that should not be overlooked.
