Please note:

The combustion gasses exiting the muzzle of a rifle are extremely hot, traveling at extreme velocity, and contains not only burning gasses but solid particles of unburnt powder as well as metals from the projectile. Due to the inherent nature of steel, it is nearly impossible to survive unaffected in this environment when directly exposed. The high temperatures begin to make the steel more malleable, which allows solid particles and pressure waves to deform and erode surfaces upon exit.

 

Due to the new and unique design of the BCM® compensators, the user may notice small pits on the interior surfaces of the compensator. This is normal. Most designs do not impede the exit flow very much, while the BCM® approach is exactly opposite. These surfaces are specifically designed to operate within the environment found at the muzzle, and are intended to allow significant amounts of deterioration before any loss of performance is seen/felt. These compensators have been tested through many thousands of rounds, and while the wear surfaces may give pause to some users, trust when we say that it's normal.

    Works well

    The compensator reduces muzzle flash and rise, keeps the rifle pointed at your target for quick follow on shots.

    AR parts

    I purchased all the parts including the stock, Barrel, compensator, charging handle, and Bolt carrier group from BCM. Super easy to do online their site is very intuitive. My favorite part was the customer service. I accidentally purchased two barrels when I only needed one. They were very easy to work with and returning one of the barrels and giving me a store credit. I like their products and I will definitely purchase from them again. First-rate company

    Great Comp

    Very lightweight and compact. Does a good job of reducing recoil. There is a slight bit more concussion with this comp, but it is not the much more than the A2(for the shooter). However, there is a significant concussion increase if you are standing next to someone shooting this. There obviously is an increase and flash with this. Have yet to shoot it at night, but for the cost, this is a great comp.

    Great upgrade

    Noticeable reduction in recoil. Fire and maneuver, 3 rounds on multiple targets. I was very pleased with how flat the muzzle stayed.

    The best Comp on the market hands down!! All my rifles are fitted with bcm comps!!

    Mod 0 muzzle device

    200 rounds down range so far, and impressed. Muzzle stays flat, with a slight kick to the right. Not overly loud or concussive. Good overall, flash suppression, and compensation. Imo best of both worlds.
