    Solid barrel nut

    The barrel nut itself is pretty good. However the wrench for it sucks. Tends to push out on the outermost parts which can lead to some deformation in the grooves for the wrench. Which led me to buying a second one here. BCM should really make a collar for the wrench. Took a second set of hands when I used the second one to make it stay in place. Worked like a charm. Read a few other stories along the same lines. One guy used needle nose pliers and tape to brace it.
