The A2X is an extended version of the A2 flash hider found on the M16 and M4 series of rifles.
 
  • Threaded for your 5.56mm carbine.
  • Machined from 4150 steel.
  • Phosphate coated per MIL-STD-171.
  • Predrilled hole at the base for permanent installation.

 

When mounted per BATF specifications for a permanent installation it will bring your 14.5" M4 barrel to a non-NFA length of over 16.1".

 

Installation should be done by a qualified gunsmith familiar with BATFE regulations.
 

The A2X is predrilled and comes with a dowel pin and crush washer for installation.

    BCM A2 Extended Flash Suppressor

    Adding only 1/4" more to a 14.5" barrel than the standard Flash hider, this gives the look, balance and ballistics of the M4 while keeping you ATF legal. The appearance and quality is equal to an original Colt/FN and was fortunately much nicer than the crappy BCM photos show. Get this pinned and welded on your 14.5" and your M4 clone will be right as rain!

    Extended Flash Suppressor

    Very pleased with the quality of this flash suppressor. If you can use a drill and can weld, the Installation is fairly simple.

    Nice hider, works well. Hits over 16" length for my 14.5" barrel. Nice finish too!

    Photos don’t do it justice, really pretty item. Since noone makes a true extended a1, this is the ONLY way to go for a traditional look

    Great muzzle device

    Went on great and brings my 14.5in barrel up to 16in after a pin and weld to satisfy NFA. You can barely tell it’s longer than the standard A2
