Hard Coat Anodized per Mil-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2
THESE RECEIVER EXTENSIONS CAN ALSO BE USED ON MOST AR-10s.
*NOTE* These buffer tubes require a M16 rifle action spring and specific BCM MK2 buffer, carbine and rifle buffers will NOT work.

Yes, this is the 8-poition tube. It's more or less the same as the VLTOR 7-position, but with one more added. This allows for some of the shorter stocks like the BCM Gunfighter and the like to fit on position two without having to back out as far as they would have with a 7-position. Works great. Highly recommended for anyone running the A5 system.
The stock has a tighter fit with this tube compared with the vltor a5. A few grams lighter as well. Works great with a MFT battlelink minimalist stock, which can utilize all 8 positions.
This has the best fit and finish of ANY receiver extension I've ever used. The length difference between the A5 and the standard carbine isn't even worth mentioning. You're crazy if you don't install these on all your ARs.
I purchased a Vltor A5 Emod system from BCM and liked it so much that I wanted it on all my rifles. The Vltor receiver extensions were out of stock but I saw that Bravo Company offered their own A5 length tube. It produces a much tighter fit to the stock than the Vltor tube. I like it so much that l have used it on three successive rifles. It does not have position numbers painted on the top but that doesn't matter to me.
Excellent product and customer service.
Easy purchase and fast shipping from Bravo Company. Great quality and more adjustability than than the regular carbine buffer tube. Just make sure you get the correct buffer system along with the tube.
excellent fit with the EMod
A5 RE is a good way of smoothing out the the cycling of the AR rifle...part is high quality
Replaced all my carbine receiver extensions with A5 variants and run A5H2 buffer weights that operate without zero bolt bounce while consistently locking back on the last round. I use a high speed camera to verify, lol. This receiver extension has a nice finish and fits snugly in all my mil-spec stocks.
