Our BCM MK2 Receiver Extension for your AR15, M16, M4. Machined from 7075T6 and manufactured to Mil-Spec dimensions and specifications. Mil-Spec receiver extensions have a slightly smaller dimension where the stock slides on.

Hard Coat Anodized per Mil-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2

 
These tubes should be used with stocks such as USGI, BCM®™, Colt, LMT, SOPMOD, VLTOR, Stag Arms, and others that a made to the Mil-Spec size.

THESE RECEIVER EXTENSIONS CAN ALSO BE USED ON MOST AR-10s.

*NOTE* These buffer tubes require a M16 rifle action spring and specific BCM MK2 buffer, carbine and rifle buffers will NOT work.

    Great Product

    Taking the extra time and care to get the right parts will ensure any pistol/SBR build run correctly. This is one of those parts. Paring it with the H2 version of the A5 system keep the typically over-gassed carbines running well. The A5 system is legit...

    AR dented cases problem & fix

    I was having feeding trouble in my PWS 12" SBR but, only when shooting it suppressed. It would not run reliably in any of the piston settings. The BCG lugs were damaging the cases of rounds being fed into the chamber. A friend suggested the A5 setup so I gave it a try. It's worked great so far (200 rds) both suppressed and unsuppressed. I'm very pleased and recommend it to anyone having a problem with a BCG operating too fast.

    Option to enhance fit for big people

    This stock give me option to fit the rifle to my frame and still take advantage of the collapsible when not in use.

    Well designed

    The BCM A5 was the perfect fit for my wife's long range AR build. She wanted a 20" barrel and and adjustable stock. The Vltor A5 has been out of stock for months. Came across the BCM A5 and thought it would fulfill my requirements. Used the VLTOR A5 spring and VLTOR H2 buffer. Ordered the VLTOR H3 buffer to see if I can do some more fine tuning. Overall a good product which didn't disappoint.

    I love the intermediate/A5 system. I use it on all my builds to help the rifle cycle smoother, especially with a can.

    The best parts available

    The Bravo Company Intermediate Reciever Extension is in my opinion THE NICEST extension available for use with the Vltor A5 system. It is true mil-spec diameter, is beautifully machined, allows a shorter stock like the Mod 0 or Magpul SL to lock collapsed, features a slightly extended lip for buffer detent retension and times better than any other extension I've used. Plus, unlike Vltor they actually make these more than once a year.
