Installation Instructions:

1. Ensure the weapon system is unloaded and clear, prior to performing any maintenance .

2. With supplied Torx™ wrench, loosen (counter clockwise) and remove the two mounting screws and the one recoil lug screw (reverse thread).

3. Of the six mounting position holes on the mount, select the desired holes for all three screws. Note: mounting screws and recoil lug screw placement will vary, depending on mount placement, left or right hand side of the rail.

4. With the mounting screws location selected and the screws loosened, locate the desire KeyMod™ placement on the rail system, install and slide forward until it travels no further.

5. Select high or low position for the 1913 rail section and install the screws.

6. Tighten all screws (clockwise) until firmly secured (30 in-lbs) For a better, more secured hold, use blue thread locking compound on mounting screw thread only.

    I like it

    Allows me to have my light mounted at a 10 o'clock position with the mount on the 9 o'clock position. This mount can be changed several different ways. My only complaint is that the 913 rail is small and I would like to see longer ones availible.

    A work of MASSIVE genius! Thanks BCM!!

    This little pic rail mount is nothing but genius. The recoil lug and two KeyMod lugs thread from underneath in an effective yet simple design. The pic rail can be moved forward, rearward, and flipped; giving the user a myriad of positions to experiment with until perfection is found.

    If you use keymod and you want to mount an X300U or TLR1 or InForce WML in the perfect 1:30 spot, this is the mount you've been waiting for.

    BCM did their homework. This mount is great.

    Since a light is something that is necessary to have on any defensive or patrol carbine you need a mount. I have used others on the market (KAC, Haley Strategic Partners, etc.) but haven't found one that works with a Surefire X300 until this one. The KAC and HSP are both high quality and work great for a Scout light. But if you want to dispense with external switches and wires, you don't have the necessary space to install an X300U with the HSP "Adaptive" 1913 version. With this one, you do. Even next to front BUIS, it works since the angle and height of the 1913 rail are correct. This makes things much more uncluttered and uncomplicated which is why you do KeyMod in the first place. Another great product from BCM. Suprised? I'm not.
