Installation Instructions:

1. Ensure the weapon system is unloaded and clear, prior to performing any maintenance .

2. With supplied Torx™ wrench, loosen (counter clockwise) and remove the two mounting screws and the one recoil lug screw (reverse thread).

3. Of the six mounting position holes on the mount, select the desired holes for all three screws. Note: mounting screws and recoil lug screw placement will vary, depending on mount placement, left or right hand side of the rail.

4. With the mounting screws location selected and the screws loosened, locate the desire KeyMod™ placement on the rail system, install and slide forward until it travels no further.

5. Select high or low position for the 1913 rail section and install the screws.

6. Tighten all screws (clockwise) until firmly secured (30 in-lbs) For a better, more secured hold, use blue thread locking compound on mounting screw thread only.

    Nicely engineered piece

    The adjustability of the unit allows me to move the piece in a considerable number of ways. I can really fine tune the placement of the light as a result.

    Depends on your setup

    I wanted to have an offset light on an 11.5 BCM keymod and use an InForce WML + BUIS front sights. The offset mount and WML did NOT leave enough clearance for the BUIS. So for my intended use - it was a fail. Mount was well constructed and would work well for a scout light setup.

    Bcm always has great products and this mount is no different. It's very low profile looks like it just belongs on a tactical rifle.

    Great Product and Service

    I received the light mount very quickly. It is very well made with a good finish and no visible tool marks in the metal. It installed exactly as described and is rock solid. Very impressed.

    Great Mount!

    I prefer this mount over the hsp thorntail because it gives you much more adjustability in light placement. You are not limited to only the keymod spacing. Well thought out quality part!

    Great quality but......

    The build and finish is great, just know with some lights such as the hsp inforce light, that if your running a daniel defence fixed front sight, you will have to off set them. That said it is extremely low profile and locks to the rail rock solid.
