This is a great replacement for the original barrel nut that comes with the KMR. While I love BCM products, the wrench tool that came with my original KMR rail had stripped the teeth, which I was very disappointed to see. I decided to replace it and purchased this barrel nut. It's perfect for the KMR rails. It's lightweight and no stripping thanks to the titanium. Next KMR purchase, I'll be adding this to the cart as well.

What more is to be said, if saving 2 OZ. is worth ~$60 to you, go for it. Personally, I wanted as light of a build as I could get so it was $$ well spent.
I'm building a lightweight fighting Carbine and lightweight and toughness is what I'm looking for. I got this V7 Weapons Systems Titanium barrel nut to save weight. Man it feels like it is half the weight of the stock KMR barrel nut!
It is well machined and finished. Looks great, too bad it will be covered up.
