I have actually seen shitty retaining pins that won't fit correctly in a bcg. When you tear down for a cleaning the last thing you need is your retaining pin bending and taking your weapon out of the fight. Radical Islam is here sheople. Works just fine. I have a couple of these for back ups just in case. Its a good quality product and packaging was straight forward.
This is another one of those parts that when you or a buddy needs one, you really need it it. Either you have a spare, or you're asking somebody who does. I've found BCM has top quality small parts and i buy from them with total confidence.
