The Magpul USA MS2 Multi Mission Sling is essentially a quick adjusting sling that converts between 1 and 2 point configurations. The 2 point configuration allows for greater retention and supports / distributes weight better. The 1 point configuration prevents the user from dropping their gun to the ground when they need to employ both hands or transition to a sidearm. The 1 point configuration also allows the user to more quickly switch hands when operating around barricades. However, you would not necessarily want to climb, run, or even walk an extended distance in the 1 point configuration and that is where the advantages of the 2 point come into play. The different configurations and quick adjustability of this sling make it adaptable to most scenarios. It should also be noted that the MS2 works best in conjunction with the MagPul Rail Sling Attachment (RSA) and / or MagPul ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point.
