This Compensator was not designed as a gamers comp. It was designed for tactical applications to reduce muzzle rise, flash signature, noise, and lateral pressure.

The BCMGUNFIGHTER™ Compensator Mod 1 - 7.62 / 300 AAC Blackout

  • Tuned slots and interior cone offer maximum in recoil mitigations, compensation of muzzle-rise, and flash reduction.
  • Dual action brake minimizes side pressure and designed to have much less noise associated with typical compensators. Makes it perfect for working in teams for CQB. It is a compensator that is built for the 21st Century Gunfighter
  • Includes a Crush Washer
  • Should be installed by a qualified armorer.

Threaded 5/8 x 24 for 7.62mm AR10 and many 300 AAC Blackout barrels

In order to install the muzzle device, you will need a "thin" wrench. A standard armorer's wrench or box wrench is too thick.

Please note:

The combustion gasses exiting the muzzle of a rifle are extremely hot, traveling at extreme velocity, and contains not only burning gasses but solid particles of unburnt powder as well as metals from the projectile. Due to the inherent nature of steel, it is nearly impossible to survive unaffected in this environment when directly exposed. The high temperatures begin to make the steel more malleable, which allows solid particles and pressure waves to deform and erode surfaces upon exit.

Due to the new and unique design of the BCM® compensators, the user may notice small pits on the interior surfaces of the compensator. This is normal. Most designs do not impede the exit flow very much, while the BCM approach is exactly opposite. These surfaces are specifically designed to operate within the environment found at the muzzle, and are intended to allow significant amounts of deterioration before any loss of performance is seen/felt. These compensators have been tested through many thousands of rounds, and while the wear surfaces may give pause to some users, trust when we say that it's normal.

    Great Value, Even Better Product

Awesome comp. Another solid BCM product. The only thing I could knock it for, would be the wrench needed to install. Just another thing I had to buy, not having it in my toolbox . Part of me thinks it is a minor design flaw that maybe could have been designed to use a standard box or armorers wrench. But its designed that way by BCM, so that's enough for me. Isn't a reason not to purchase though, or give it a lower rating.

    Perfect look

Love the look on my 300 build. Only a few rounds through to dial in the gas block. Seems to work fine. Will know more once the bcg I plan on buying from BCM is in stock. Shipping was fast and plan on buying more products from BCM.

    Awesome product

I had bought one previously for my Ruger Predator 300BO and I love it! It took the recoil out enough that my 10 year old can shoot it accurately. It has been great for my Ruger American 308 too. They look sharp and work awesome!!

    Better than a birdcage!

Posted by IntellMerc on Jun 10th 2016

I didn't do a side by side, shot for shot comparison against the $10 birdcage I had on my 10.5" 300AAC (really just to protect the threads), but it certainly seems to tame the little bucking beast into a smooth(er) shooting boom stick!

My local GreenTop had them on sale for $50, so I bought the 3 they had in stock. Now my 8.5, 10.5, and new 16 inch all have BCM 7.62 compensators mounted (with AAC 5/8 tuning shims. I'm not a fan of crish washers, so I don't need a special thin wrench).

    I'll be buying another

Reduces recoil but more importantly it forces the muzzle blast forward.
