BCM® M4 Flat Top Upper Receiver with cosmetic blemishes. Most have scratches or scuffs.
 
The upper comes unassembled, but complete with BCM forward assist assembly and ejection port cover door assembly.
You must assemble it. (Assembly required) (all parts, but you will have to assemble together)
 
THESE ARE USED/DEMO UPPER RECEIVER ASSEMBLIES. All will have several nicks, scratches, and marks on exterior finish. NO HANDPICKING.
 
This receiver has the M4 feedramps machined in. This is to be used with barrels that include the M4 barrel extension.
 

Built to the correct Mil-Specs.
(Inside Diameter for barrel extension slightly undersized for a tighter fit to the barrel and a more accurate rifle. Please use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up threaded bore of receiver if barrel extension is too tight.)

    Flawless Upper

    My order from BCM arrived much faster than anticipated. The parts to complete the upper receiver (forward assist assembly and dust cover) were neatly sealed in a plastic bag, with the tiny C-clip for the dust cover hinge rod easy to find in its own section. They required some clean-up, as they were covered in a cosmoline-like anti-corrosive, I presume.

    If I have one complaint—if you can call it that—it is that I can't find anything wrong with this upper at all, even though it was sold as a "DEMO/Scratched" part. I examined it closely, and (at least on the one example I received) there isn't a blemish to be found anywhere. Considering this was to be an upper for a hard-use AR-15 build, I didn't think a few scuffs or scratches would make much difference—I would be making my own soon enough. However, this proved not to be the case.

    In summary, I paid a bargain-basement price for a flawless upper receiver from a top-tier manufacturer. What's not to love?

    Great upper for money

    BCM upper for half the cost what's not to like. Blems were very minor besides I'm not building safe queens so wouldn't bother me if was all sorts of scratched up.

    Almost flawless

    Just a couple small scratches (which is expected with a blemished product) but they are hardly noticeable and the fit between the barrel and reciever is nice and tight for a good secure fit

    Looks Great, Good Tight Fit

    Great value upper. Would buy more.

    Snug fit to barrel extension, which required heat to assemble. that is a good sign. I previously tried this barrel extension in another brand's cerokoted upper, and the fit was sloppy, even with the added finish thickness.

    BCG channel holds a BCM BCG appropriately, and the pin fit to an Aero lower is great, not too tight or too loose.

    This upper receiver had a little scratch, about 1/4" long, in the finish on the left side. Big deal. After assembly and getting it oily, I wouldn't be able to find it again.

    Great Value - Great Component!

    I was exceptionally pleased with the, 'demo/scratched' BCM Upper Receiver I just purchased. The price was great and the scratches? None to be found. Geat value!
