BCM® has taken great care to ensure the best possible performance and interchangeability. However, due to the large operational range of 300 Blackout ammunition in the market place, BCM® cannot guarantee function will all ammunition types in all conditions. These barrels were designed to run with a H3 buffer with high velocity ammo.

If running subsonic ammunition, it is recommended to run your suppressor and a carbine buffer. Fine tuning may be required in limited instances based on ammo and buffer choices that work best for the desired application. BCM® also recommends running the Crane O-ring (provided with all BCM® Bolt Carrier Groups) over the extractor with 300 Blackout.

    New purchase

    More than I expected! Once I got the H3 buffer shaw ran like a top! Zeroed my T1 at 50 with 2 shots touching and a 3rd in the black. As usual top flight quality. I did find working through the website frustrating and couldn't reach a real person on the phone. All in all a good experience!

    Perfect

    I ordered with a Mod 4 charging handle and BCG. Shipping was fast given being close to the holidays when I ordered. I paired this upper with a pistol lower, Magpul MBUS sights, and BCM's keymod scout mount holding an M300 mini. I highly recommend getting some BCM Keymod rail covers, as they add some girth and comfort to the handguard. I have not done any accuracy testing, since it is configured as a pistol. Great product I’d recommend to anyone.

    Long Range Short Barrel!

    I've put around 120-160 rounds through this upper so far. Every factory load and weight I could find, super and subs. Un-suppressed, not one failure to feed or any other hiccup! Talked to a lot of people that say their short barrel isn't very accurate past 50yds. I did notice some ammo had tighter groups. That being said, find a load and weight you like. But I had this upper plinking metal at 200yds with the cheapest ammo I could find! With red dot and 137grain supers. Little hold, you have to understand your ammo and range, but it will hold groups if you stay steady. Very accurate!

    Options Options

    Great upper. One complaint though. You need to consider that a lot of folks buying the 300 black upper are gunna run a suppressor. You should give the option to not have the BCM muzzle brake on the upper and just leave it threaded with no muzzle device. Most cans these days have proprietary brakes for quick detach. Other than that, keep up the good work and service.

    Great product from a great company

    This is my 4th BCM upper and first 300 Blackout. What a great upper as always. I have put just over 500 rounds down range with this upper and have had ZERO issues. I run it suppressed with a SilencerCo Omega and cant believe how well it runs so far. Very impressed with the minimal blowback. I really could not be happier.
