About the BCM® Standard 9" 300 BLACKOUT Complete Upper Receiver w/ KMR-A7 Handguard

  • Continuous taper barrel profile designed for optimal weight, balance, and performance.
  • Barrel profile fluted toward the rear near chamber area - Increases strength and heat dissipation.
  • Tapered barrel profile out front, for easier maneuverability.
  • No sharp handguard cap shoulder for improved barrel harmonics and improved accuracy.
  • Muzzle threaded in standard 30 cal (5/8x24).

BCM® has taken great care to ensure the best possible performance and interchangeability. However, due to the large operational range of 300 Blackout ammunition in the market place, BCM® cannot guarantee function will all ammunition types in all conditions. These barrels were designed to run with a H3 buffer with high velocity ammo.

If running subsonic ammunition, it is recommended to run your suppressor and a carbine buffer. Fine tuning may be required in limited instances based on ammo and buffer choices that work best for the desired application. BCM® also recommends running the Crane O-ring (provided with all BCM® Bolt Carrier Groups) over the extractor with 300 Blackout.

    A thing of Beauty

    I was doing a 300 Blackout pistol build and had my lower completed. In my research I came across the 9" upper. Fairly pricey but BCM has a good reputation. I posted a few questions before I made the purchase. All were returned within 24 hrs. I placed my order and waited for xmas. I was not disappointed. The upper receiver group was a thing of beauty. Professionally assembled, complete, and came with some swag. I took it to the range the next day and I was shooting tight groups in no time. I did have a follow on question to BCM about a white dot on my BCG and in true BCM fashion they were quick to respond with (that is how they mark that the BCG has been assembled with the special o-ring for a 300blk). Outstanding customer service an Outstanding product,

    Awesome

    Fit and Finish is what I've come to expect from BCM. Upper with pistol lower is exceptionally light (my wife is eyeing it as her new primary because it's SO light). Excellent job yet again BCM.

    Nice product, great service

    I was interested in building an AR pistol in 300 Blackout, and the folks at BCM were outstanding in providing guidance. The finished product shoots incredibly well; amazing accuracy out of a 9" barrel. Highly recommended.

    Great so far, as advertised, as expected.

    Though I have a limited number of rounds through it, it has fed everything from 110 to 220 grain bullets without any problems (without a change in buffer weight), shot tight groups and it's light to boot. The keymod rail is nice and slim and doesn't seem to dig in as bad as a normal quad rail without covers.
