That was under the impression that the enhanced lightweight barrel was fluted I'm not sure if I got the right barrel . It says online if you look up ELW barrel from bravo Co it has fluted? Also I would like to order a number of other things but it seems to be that you guys are out of stock a lot but this is the second upper I have ordered from you guys and the first one was excellent .
This weapon is exactly how they advertised it. Very light weight but doesn’t feel dinky whatsoever. The fit and finish is amazing and the BCG is true quality MPI full auto bolt. Nothing too fancy, mil spec. I don’t however like the rail, I don’t have any key mod products so I will probably switch that out instead of having multiple mounting systems. I like uniformity not necessarily knocking the key mod. So far I have gotten decent groups at 100 yards but have only punched 200 rounds through it with remanned ammo thanks to these shortages. Will post pics if this review lets me. Would be 5 stars if wasn’t for the key-mod and no charging handle. I felt like after spending 700+ on an upper that the charging handle would at least have a basic duty option that would come included. I ended up finding a bcm gun fighter from a guy at a local gun show. Fun fact, you can play baseball with this Upper it’s that solid.
I already have a BCM upper that I love. However, this upper is blemished (the entire left side of the barrel). I still think I got a good deal but I am disappointed in BCM. They should have said it was blemished.
Haven't had a chance to shoot yet (should have my BCM lower in a few days) but so far I love it. Shipping was fast and the upper itself is amazing.
AWESOME!!!!
I have two of these 16" ENHANCED Light Weight *ALPHA* 13 uppers, and both will whack 12x18 inch steel all the way out to 600 yards every time I do my part correctly. I love the barrel profile - lightweight, but heavier where it does some good.... My oldest BCM upper has eaten 20,000+ rounds and the only issue I've noticed is the gas port seems to have gotten a little bigger (not a surprise). I have no reason to expect these won't be just as long-lived.
I may not have the most accurate review considering I have only shot 200 rounds through this upper receiver so far. My cousin and I have both decided to piece our ar15s together. That being said, he went with some upper (ill update this if I ever figure out the brand he went with) his upper was around $230 after taxes and mine after including the bolt and charging handle was around $850. Funny thing, he made a joke about mine being so expensive and said it was just over priced aluminum and that our uppers are exactly the same... well, The differences are day and night... this Upper Receiver Group feels so solid. I swear I am sooooo glad I went with this vs a cheap upper!! When we shot our ARs man oh man lets just say you definitely get what you pay for on upper receivers.... This might not be the best review but for now this is my opinion. I will definitely buy again and recommend. I will make another review once I get a few thousand rounds through this thing.
I shot it for the first time this morning and loved it.....very happy with the purchase.
This upper is built strong and sturdy and is shockingly light weight
