About the BCM® Standard 16" 300 BLACKOUT Complete Upper Receiver w/ KMR-A13 Handguard

  • Continuous taper barrel profile designed for optimal weight, balance, and performance.
  • Barrel profile fluted toward the rear near chamber area - Increases strength and heat dissipation.
  • Tapered barrel profile out front, for easier maneuverability.
  • No sharp handguard cap shoulder for improved barrel harmonics and improved accuracy.
  • Muzzle threaded in standard 30 cal (5/8x24).

BCM® has taken great care to ensure the best possible performance and interchangeability. However, due to the large operational range of 300 Blackout ammunition in the market place, BCM® cannot guarantee function will all ammunition types in all conditions. These barrels were designed to run with a H3 buffer with high velocity ammo.

If running subsonic ammunition, it is recommended to run your suppressor and a carbine buffer. Fine tuning may be required in limited instances based on ammo and buffer choices that work best for the desired application. BCM® also recommends running the Crane O-ring (provided with all BCM® Bolt Carrier Groups) over the extractor with 300 Blackout.

    BCM 16inch 300BLK

    This is my 4th BCM upper, all have been sub MOA rifles. Last year I sold my gear and purchased a complete BCM RECCE 16 in 5.56. With 1000's++ of rounds through that platform, the Recce is my favorite rifle yet - zero failures. I've run it super light with just an aimpoint, great truck gun. I've also run it with a 3-10x Bushnell Elite Tactical and bipod, very capable.
    While waiting on approval for a Surefire SOCOM 300 SPS for the Recce, I convinced myself to purchase this 300 BLK upper in 16. Plan to cut/weld my Surefire muzzle device around 14.0 ----- As always, nothing but the best from BCM. Zero problems with subsonic loads (only have tried Federal ammo). While doing my initial sight-in at 50 yards with an Aimpoint, 3 SIG SAUER 125gr Supersonic loads made 1 hole. All my battle rifles will come from BCM, my next precision upper (SPR) will also come from them. Thank you guys for what you do.

    So light weight and shoots so accurate every round. Even the spent cartridges land in the same place making it easy to police your brass

    Phenomenal upper. Consistent with Bravo's unsurpassed reputation for quality and excellence.
    The KMR-A handguard is very slim, comfortable and ergonomically designed.
    This is my second Bravo complete upper and looking to have another sometime soon!

    American Business Like Old Great America!

    I landed on the BCM 300 Blackout for deer hunting and home protection. I ordered, it shipped, I got it! Less then one week, and that all the way to Kodiak Island, AK! I am amazed at the light weight and the sturdiness of the rail. This is not made in China (I'm so glad) but high quality USA manufacturing! Go for quality and have it for life!
