Based on the SOPMOD designed bolt upgrade and rebuild package, this kit is designed to breathe new life into your bolt assembly. The bolt assembly is the heart of your AR15 rifle system and preventative maintenance used by professions insures these systems keep running even under the harshest of conditions.
This is a great spare parts kit to keep your AR15, M16, M4 running in the field.

  • Extractor made to USGI specs (shot peened)

    Nice an easy upgrade

    Took no time at all getting this installed. FYI use a small wood block to hold the extractor down to get the extractor pin in. Good solid upgrade.

    Sopmod kit

    I purchased this kit for my Ar because I was having problems with failures to eject. Just like some other reviewers have mentioned. I installed this kit and have yet to have any issue with my gun since. I have put about 300 rounds through my gun so far. Both slow and fast paced shooting. I now have more confidence in my Ar and trust that it will work every time I pull the trigger. I will post again after I get up to a few thousand rounds but I'm sure it will be working just fine. I highly recommend this kit for anybody having an issue with their gun. I plan on picking up another kit so I have an extra. Thank you BCM for carrying great products.

    Easy Quick Fix

    Worked instantly.

    I am relatively new to the AR scene, that said; any one with simple mechanic know how can assemble this. I did it on my tail gate in 5 minutes.

    I had some issues with my AR Failing to Eject the spent rounds.

    The claw was tearing chunks of casing off but leaving the empty round in the chamber and shoving an additional round behind it.

    I Bought this, after a buffer spring replacement didn't work not knowing the issue completely.

    Would recommend to any one.

    Best upgrade

    I just finished building a 11.5 in. SBR that has taken me a few years to finish and a lot of $$. Had to use a Daniel Defense bcg because the Bravo Co one wasn't in stock. The rifle wouldn't eject the spent casings at all. I installed the extractor, spring and O-ring from this kit and now the rifle runs flawless. Use the BCM bolt group for your build so you don't have to drop an additional thirty bucks on the upgrade after you allready dumped a lot on your bolt. I do have to say that the DD bolt worked fine in a 16 in. Rifle

    must-have

    If your AR starts hiccuping, before doing anything drastic, do two things: clean it, and buy this kit. Those two steps have cured several AR's I have used, both commercial and mil-spec M4's.

    At least one of these kits is in my rifle toolbox at all times. Absolutely critical.

    Great Extractor

    Not to hard to put on my bolt but just use alot of finger pressure to push down on the extractor spring. great quality and shipping was fast Thank you BCM. American made Keep up the great work!
