    Great Product

    I replaced my extractor and Extractor spring in my BCM bolt at about 10,000 rounds with this product (Gas Rings were still solid, I did not replace them). I had no issues with the original, but just wanted to stay on top of preventative maintenance. I ran the carbine the next weekend at Steve Fishers Critical Carbine Employment 2 with no issues at all (about 1500 rounds over the two day class). Buy with confidence, this product will not let you down.

    My rifle is a BCM BFH 14.5, mid length gas system and a BCM BCG.

    Good Kit. Just What I needed.

    After firing thousands of rounds through my M4 (not sure the exact round count but I know what I buy and how much I like to keep on hand), I noticed some issues with the gas rings being too loose while doing the PMI gas ring test. Instead of just swapping the gas rings I did a complete overhaul and rebuild of the bolt to ensure combat reliability and performance when it counts. Was surprised at how simple and easy it was to removed the former rings and slip on the new ones, and at how tight they were inside the carrier once installed.

    fixed my problem

    I have a 300 blackout that was not ejecting- it was just leaving the extracted case on the magazine follower. The ejector plunger was working as intended, but I reasoned the case may be slipping off the extractor claw during extraction. Replacing the stock extractor with the BCM upgrade kit resolved the issue. However, with the stiffer spring and rubber o-ring, it is a pain to install- requiring a vice or a clamp (at least in my limited experience).
