I recently switched over to QD and this end plate makes for a tidy and quiet mount for a sling. Wish I had switched over to QD sooner. Easy install, does not pivot.
As with everything that I have ever ordered from BCM, it was shipped quickly and is top quality.

Exactly what I needed (though I wish it was cheaper). Great form, fit, function.
Fit, finish, install...all good. It's the function that I have my reservations.
I was testing it out after installing and thought "this is pretty slick, I like it!" That is until I collapsed my stock fully( standard M4 stock, nothing fancy here), engaging the QD button on the sling and the rifle dropped 18" down, muzzle first on my big toe. I thought I broke my foot. It's been bruised for a month.
That aside, it might be that I need a different QR swivel. To solve this problem in the mean time, I have taped about .25" worth of Gorilla Glue duct tape on the buffer tube to prevent the stock from collapsing fully and accidentally dropping my rifle again.
I would be more than happy to amend my rating of this product if there is a better solution out there, but for the time being, there needs to be a disclaimer on the use of this product. Other than the previous problem, it's all good!
