    Does the job well

    Does an excellent job of shielding heat over a lighter weight barrel. I don't feel they really increase grip - the texture isn't aggressive enough - but they definitely make it more comfortable.

    Good texture

    These rail panels are slim, attach very securely, and add almost no diameter to the hand guard. Texture provides for a good grip without being sticky.
