Featuring the same industry leading barrel nut and lock up design as originally introduced on BCM's evolutionary KMR handguard, the MCMR Series of handguards gives the shooter modularity in the M-LOK platform.

This proprietary patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691), includes a mechanical index to the 12:00 rail and positions mounting hardware to mitigate the movement caused by heat generated by the weapon system.

For load bearing accessories (bipod mounts, sling mounts, vertical grips, barricade supports), we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs.

    Mlok hand guard

    The build quality is nice. Everything went together as it should. The tolerance is amazing and the instructions were very clear. Even the spanner wrench was impressive. The color was way off though. It's no where near matching my upper and it's a huge bummer for me. I wish I could've noticed that in pics before hand. Internet purchases: win some, lose some.

    BCM MCMR-9 (M-LOK RAIL)

    I only use BCM, several years now and 6 builds from Bravo Company and I dont think I'll ever use another hand rail. Strong as can be, light weight and it looks great, what more can you want?

    Tight fit

    This rail looks super cool. And it is comfortable to the hand. If you have a gas piston system this is a very tight fit with no room for error. Do yourself a favor and have a gunsmith install it. It is impossible to slip it over the barrel nut with just your hands. Which also means that once it is in place, it’s not going anywhere.

    Incredible Design

    I had not used a BCM rail before this purchase but was building a new upper and having had great experiences with other BCM products, like their BCGs, decided to give it a shot. This was again a phenomenal product.

    The machining and anodizing was perfect, and as I found out upon installing over the barrel nut, it has to be. Let's talk about the lockup on this rail. It starts with a precision machined barrel nut that just barely fits under the rail. I had to install it using a nylon mallet. Then there is a steel indexing tab to align things between the aluminum rail and aluminum upper. So you are locked on and indexed. Then you cross-pin through the groove on the barrel nut to prevent it from ever moving forward/backward. To sum it up, I don't think this rail is ever going to move. Ever.

    The size in hand is perfect, MLOK slots are all machined well and mount as expected. Paired with a 10" barrel, this rail comes just to the base of the threads. If you are thinking about buying a rail and this is on your list, just buy it. Stop thinking about it. You will not regret it.

    My First AR Pistol Build

    This rail is solid. Once i removed the old barrel nut every step after was a breeze. This thing isn’t moving. Fits perfectly in the hand and worked like a charm on the range. Comes with everything you need except a torque wrench and heat gun. I didn’t have to use a heat gun but did use a soft mallet to get the rail fully seated in proper position. Best rail out there for the price.
