Featuring the same industry leading barrel nut and lock up design as originally introduced on BCM's evolutionary KMR handguard, the MCMR Series of handguards gives the shooter modularity in the M-LOK platform.

This proprietary patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691), includes a mechanical index to the 12:00 rail and positions mounting hardware to mitigate the movement caused by heat generated by the weapon system.

For load bearing accessories (bipod mounts, sling mounts, vertical grips, barricade supports), we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs.

    Pros and cons

    The handguard is well built. Don’t attempt to install this handguard without first ensuring the length is correct, and that you have watched some videos on installing BCM handguards. Like I said, they are good quality, but once it is on, it’s not coming off. Which is why I gave this a 3 star review. I literally had to cut mine off with a bandsaw, which was a terrible waist of money. They go on so tight, if you ever wanted to switch it out or take it off to do some cleaning, forget about it. Once it’s on, it’s never coming off.

    MCMR

    I recently installed the rail and so far I have enjoyed the narrower handguard. Not having to time the barrel nut was great and the fact that it lightened up the front end of the rifle made having the SOCOM profile barrel a non-issue in terms of weight management.

    Great rail!

    This is the second mcmr rail I have purchased and I am very happy with all aspects. The fit and finish are solid and will definitely hold to alot of use.

    MCMR-7 Great Handguard

    This is the second BCM handguard I have purchased. I put this one on a 300blk custom build. These are very sturdy but very lightweight at the same time. Quality is top notch. You get what you pay for and this is no exception. I highly recommend these handguards for anyone looking for a top of the line rail for a mid level price. Shipping was super fast too.

    I am very pleased with this hand guard. It is built incredibly well and boy is it light! For having a “bulletproof” reputation, I was surprised at the weight. It fit tight like it should and I couldn’t be happier with the rail. For my first time buying something BCM, I am very happy and will be buying more in the future!

    Awesome Handguard

    I love this handguard! It lines up perfect with the rail on my upper receiver and fits nice and snug (it's not going anywhere!). I love how lightweight it is too. And, it just looks beautiful. Oh, and I also love the QD swivel attachment that comes with it.It is super solid.

    My first AR build was almost all BCM parts and it went together beautifully and has always functioned great.

    For my most recent build in 9mm, I got one of the cheapest upper parts kits I could find because I wanted to save money. Well, you get what you pay for and the charging handle broke during function testing. The upper receiver had out-of-spec holes so I couldn't install the dust port cover or forward assist and then when I finally went to put on my front sight, I found that the morons who built the handguard had made the pic rail profile too tall so my sights wouldn't fit. I immediately got on BCM to order this to replace it (I also bought a BCM charging handle to replace the broken one). I had every confidence in their quality and they didn't disappoint. It went on great, looks fantastic, and lines up perfectly (oh, and my front sight is now sitting proudly up on the rail. I wish I had just started with BCM to begin with.

    The New M-LOK standard!!!

    This handguard is just outstanding!!! Love it, have never been a fan of keymod and the moment BCM came out with their M-LOK version I had to get one!!! BCM Upper and rail along with a 7.5" diplomat barrel and KX3 makes a sick SBR or pistol upper!!!

    If you’re thinking about buying BCM anything. Don’t think anymore. Just buy it. I have never been disappointed.
