All the advantages and features of Bravo Company's KeyMod™ Rail, now available in 100% aluminum

 

Manufactured from aluminum, it is lightweight yet durable. Also featuring a proprietary patent pending mounting, indexing and lock up system that mitigates 12:00 rail movement under heat generated from the barrel nut.

 

Handguard alone weighs 7.8oz!

The KMR barrel nut will fit over all mil-spec diameter barrels (max of 1")

Mounting hardware, 2.4oz, for a total of 10.2oz on a very long 13 rail.

 

The KMR Alpha is hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance as well as to maintain a non-reflective finish.

 

The KeyMod interface system was developed by Eric Kincel (now the Director of BCM's product development team) to work in parallel with the current picatinny system. In many applications it will advance modularity past the current 1913 rail system.

 

The BCM KMR Alpha also allows for a larger range of modularity offering 4 different offset mounting positions between traditional 3,6,9, and 12:00 positions.

 

In the most basic of applications the KeyMod system allows for universal modularity between various manufacturers of accessories, and accessory rails. A big win for the trigger puller. As the industry advances the modular accessories will mount directly to the KeyMod instead of picatinny, allowing for a lighter, cleaner, and less bulky weapon system.

Please note: Nylon/Polymer Picatinny rail sections are for NON-load bearing accessories only. For load bearing accessories, we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing KeyMod Fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs

    Free Float Handguard

    Great product and great service very happy with free floating hand guard it looks great on my rifle and feels good. Thanks for the great product and service.

    Excellent build, but won't fit

    The handguard is a great design, build and very light. Unfortunately, my upper receiver is NOT mil-spec, so it won't fit properly. I'm sorely disappointed that I have to return it. The instructions are very clear and it was my bad.

    KMR Handguard

    This is the best feeling handguard I've held. It's slim design allows for better control of your rifle. The weight is amazing and the way it mounts to the upper makes for a rigid hold. This is a must have addition to any platform.

    Super light, super solid

    Very light, feels very solid. Had a small issue with install because I didn't have the index plate lined up quite right, but that's on me.

    Amazing light, amazing well constructed. Very tight tolerances. I replaced Alpha 11 with the 13 and love the function and look. Would recommend it to anyone.

    Excellent handguard!

    This handguard had everything I was looking for. Nice and light, but also durable and rock solid mounting. Along with the KAG this handguard fits perfectly in my hands. Thanks BCM! My first AR build is complete!
