All the advantages and features of Bravo Company's KeyMod™ Rail, now available in 100% aluminum

Manufactured from aluminum, it is lightweight yet durable. Also featuring a proprietary patent pending mounting, indexing and lock up system that mitigates 12:00 rail movement under heat generated from the barrel nut.

 

Handguard alone weighs 6.2oz!

Handguard flares forward (towards muzzle end) at the 3 and 9 O'clock positions approximately 1/4"

Actual length when measured to flare is 10.5"

 

Mounting hardware, 2.4oz, for a total of 8.6oz on a 10 rail.

The KMR barrel nut will fit over all mil-spec diameter barrels (max of 1")

The KMR Alpha is hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance as well as to maintain a non-reflective finish.

The KeyMod interface system was developed by Eric Kincel (now the Director of BCM's product development team) to work in parallel with the current picatinny system. In many applications it will advance modularity past the current 1913 rail system.

The BCM® KMR Alpha also allows for a larger range of modularity offering 4 different offset mounting positions between traditional 3,6,9, and 12:00 positions.

In the most basic of applications the KeyMod system allows for universal modularity between various manufacturers of accessories, and accessory rails. A big win for the trigger puller. As the industry advances the modular accessories will mount directly to the KeyMod instead of picatinny, allowing for a lighter, cleaner, and less bulky weapon system.

Please note: Nylon/Polymer Picatinny rail sections are for NON-load bearing accessories only. For load bearing accessories, we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing KeyMod Fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs

    Amazing

    this is the only hand guard I'll use any more. Love the low profile feel as well as the many many key mods. The alpha version is excellent, very light weight!

    Awesomeness!!

    Love the new Alpha handguards! I won't spend $300.00 on a handguard because, well , just cause I wont. However the new Alpha handguards are priced right and IMO, just as awesome as the original KMRs. I bought a 10" for my SBR build and bought my girlfriend the complete upper with the 13" KMR Alpha. These are definitely my favorite handguards!

    wow,this rail is light. easy to handle.easy to install. when is FDE going to hit the market.
    price point ok. If you would drop price you would sell these like hotcakes.

    Awesome Rail

    I've already owned one of the original KMR rails and was excited to try out the Alpha on a new upper. Any weight difference is negligible, as I can't really feel it and the upper is very lightweight. Excellent machine work and finish. Anodizing is uniform and high quality. And, Bonus! The Alpha included the QD sling mount and picatinny section. Very satisfied.

    Install

    After reading through the Instructions twice I completed the Installation of the BCM KMR ALPHA 10 on to a .300 Blackout 10 1/2. It took all of about 15 minutes once all the proper tools were layed out. This Hardware is Awesome!

    Great Looking

    I installed the 10" (actually 10.5') without an issue. It looks great and just covers the gas block on my mid-length 16" BCM barrel. The installation was straightforward, just make sure the instructions are followed precisely. My rifle looks great with this rail! The rail is well made and seems very sturdy. I recommend.

    solid, looks great
    This is my first build, so I planned to use middle of the road priced/quality parts. I started with an Anderson 80% lower, then started looking for other parts. I kept going back to BCM because of the awesome service, great products, and great value you get for the money. Ended up with a much higher quality gun because everything on it is BCM, except the lower.
