Installation Instructions:

 

* Locate the forward position of the mount, indicated by the arrow marking, located underneath the sling mount, arrow towards the muzzle.

 

* With supplied Torx wrench, loosen (counter clockwise) the two mounting screws enough so the assembly can drop in and slide forward into the desired mounting position of the rail system.

 

* With the KMSM in on the KeyMod rail, and the screws still loose, insert your QD sling swivel into the KMSM. This will insure the sling mount hole in the KMSM is lined up correctly with the hole in the KeyMod slot on your handguard, so your swivel will fully seat correctly.

 

* Tighten screws (clockwise) until firmly secured (18-20 in-lbs). Remove your QD sling swivel if desired.

 

* For better long term secured mounting, use blue thread locking compound on mounting screw thread only.

    Has room for improvement

    I really like the way this is built. The reversible screws are great and you can tell a good deal of thought went into the design. However, I have tried using multiple quick disconnects and they all are sticking inside. I'm goign to try and use some grease to make it smoother but I shouldn't have to. If that doesn't work, I might try lightly filing. The quick disconnects work on all my other ports so I've narrowed the problem down to this part.

    Keymod QD mount

    Item works perfect, just as expected. Service and shipping are incredible. I'm getting items 3 and four days after ordering during the quarantine. I could recommend them higher.

    QD keymod sling mount

    Instructions are a little vague, so what you really need to know is that the small tab on the front side is a recoil plug which sits into the keyhole in front of the two it's mounted in. Keep the screws as loose as possible until the tab snaps into place
