Installation Instructions:

 

* Locate the forward position of the mount, indicated by the arrow marking, located underneath the sling mount, arrow towards the muzzle.

 

* With supplied Torx wrench, loosen (counter clockwise) the two mounting screws enough so the assembly can drop in and slide forward into the desired mounting position of the rail system.

 

* With the KMSM in on the KeyMod rail, and the screws still loose, insert your QD sling swivel into the KMSM. This will insure the sling mount hole in the KMSM is lined up correctly with the hole in the KeyMod slot on your handguard, so your swivel will fully seat correctly.

 

* Tighten screws (clockwise) until firmly secured (18-20 in-lbs). Remove your QD sling swivel if desired.

 

* For better long term secured mounting, use blue thread locking compound on mounting screw thread only.

    It's simple and slim

    Not much to the sling mount, but I will say that it is built well, stays attached to my keymod rail very well, and doesn't snag the QD attachment when I'm detaching my sling swivel from the rifle.
    In short...LOVE IT

    Had installation issues!

    Followed directions and I tried to slide the accessory on the rail as directed. The rail was Cerakoted and I used a punch and brass hammer. It would only go so far with screws just barely in the accessory. I ended up turning it around and tapped it home on the keymod rail. There are several factors with this issue; the keymod rail, the cerakote, and the little centering lip on the accessory. I don't know why these cannot be modified with longer screws and a more friendly accessory that can be used across the board. At this point I'm not even sure the instructions were correct and adequate. Something that should have taken less than a minute took over a half hour. Once I got it on, the screws didn't have very much tightening. I am convinced that there are some keymod foregrips that these will not work with.

    The best QD sling mount for Keymod handguards.

    This is by far the best QD sling mount for Keymod handguards on the market. It's made from investment cast steel with a parkerized finish. It's very light weight and smooth so it won't snag on clothing or LBE. With this mount and a QD backplate you can run a dual QD sling in single and two point configuration. Another excellent product from BCM.
