BCM® Extractor Spring Upgrade Kit

The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    I've heard great things!

    I haven't gotten it yet so it's hard to review an item I haven't had any use out of yet, but I've herd the BCM extractor spring works wonders when shooting steel case ammo in combination with a heavy buffer. I learned about this from Aregularguy90's YouTube channel. I recently ordered an inexpensive AR upper that claims to be mil-spec I have yet to receive the upper or the spring yet. When my AR is complete I plan on putting some steel case ammo thru it and even take classes with it. Once I put some rounds through it I'll write another review on it, but thus far I've heard only good things about it.

    Extractor spring upgrade kit

    I put this in my M&P and they extract much better than the stock spring that was in it. Better tension on the extractor.

    Fixed Extraction Issues

    I had occasional issues with a FailZero bolt that I suspected indicated the extractor slipping off the casing. I saw this upgrade and gave it a shot. The spring is MUCH stiffer than the stock spring. I took the rifle out to the range today and it ran flawlessly. This is a great little upgrade.
