The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    7.5" Anderson AR pistol Fixed

    I purchased this pistol new a couple of weeks ago, I haven't been able to get about full magazine with it yet. I noticed that I could move the extractor with my pinky finger. Called Anderson had them send me another bolt, no change. After the supper fast shipping from BCM I installed the extractor upgrade kit, went yesterday after work and I went right through a 30 round magazine no problem! Then it started single shots. Took my free float hand guard off the gas block had moved forward. Put gas block back into place tightened the screws and Finished out 4 more 30 round magazines no problem! Ate steel case and brass case ammo reliably no problem! Thank you BCM you saved this pistol. It's a shame that a quality built pistol company would have better Quility Control! The most crucial part of the AR PLATFORM is gas and a good bolt! Anderson needs to step it up!
