The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    definetly an upgrade

    the extractor spring is definitely beefier and more sturdy than the origina one in my rifle. great product, fast shipping and great packaging. love the stickers

    The Best replacement for your worn-out exctractor

    My trusty rifle started to be not so trusty one day (after 3yrs and an unquantifiable round count) and, upon further inspection, the extracor spring was so weak, it barely had any spring tension.
    The extractor spring upgrade that BCM makes is second to none and is very reasonably priced. It was cheaper buying it direct, with shipping than buying it from anyone else! Plus the good folks at BCM ALWAYS send some of that good good swag.

    Excellent upgrade for AR Pistols!

    My AR pistol was having failure to eject/double feed problems, due to over gassing with a 7.5 inch barrel. The extractor spring upgrade kit cured the problem. Now, it throws brass with authority!

    Every AR I own and as the armorer for my Police Department, every Patrol Rifle in my department are equipped with the BCM extractor spring upgrade. The piece of mind and quality of construction is well worth the few dollars and few minutes to install!
