The BCM® Extractor Spring is a heavy coil design made for the increased extractor tension required on many AR15, M4, M16 short barreled rifles. This product also improves the reliability on a standard 16" and 14.5" carbines.
As with all BCM branded products, the highest quality is the primary focus. Our BCM Extractor Spring is manufactured by a 9001:2000 facility employing the latest precision equipment. BCM starts with only the highest quality chrome silicon material, heat treats to stress relieve the product and shot peens to add increased strength.
This kit also includes the new black extractor insert, standard on all M4, M4A1, Mk18 carbines and the recent new standard on M16A4 rifles. The BCM Extractor Spring is so strong the Mil-Spec Crane O-Ring will probably not be needed, but it is included.

    Extractor upgrade kit

    Awesome product. Does exactly what it says it will do. I got the three pack and a single piece was missing. I contacted you folks to ask how I should proceed, and before I knew it, you had sent me a complete replacement package, no questions asked....amazing customer service. I've ordered from you folks before, I'll definitely do it again!

    Ejector problem

    I installed the new spring into my bolt
    The whole take down and install took about 5 minutes very easy,
    Since the spring upgrade I have shot roughly 350 rounds through it , I had no issues no more double feeds no anything
    Ar is good now , I thought I had bad magazines and I almost a new bolt
    It was just a $5 dollar spring that was wore out

    Extractor Spring Upgrade

    What else can be said, perfect upgrade for bolts that do not have this, as all bolts should. A must for pistol builds. High quality like all of BCM parts.

    Jammin' No More

    I purchased this kit to fix a jamming/stove-piping issue I was having with a new AR-15. At least once every 5 rounds a spent cartridge would not be fully ejected and would get stuck sticking out of the ejection port as the bolt was attempting to chamber the next round. This fixed the problem! I'll be updating my other ARs soon with the remaining springs from this kit.

    Extractor upgrade

    Ar pistol was having trouble ejecting shells without jamming every other one so I got this kit and installed it eliminated the problem and cycled like a champ. This is a must for the shorter barreled rifles small price for a big problem. Thanks bravo company
