BCM® (MPI) complete bolt carrier group is fully assembled. (BCG)

Bolt carrier group (auto version) for your AR15, M16, or M4. Parkerized exterior and chrome lined inside carrier. Machined to USGI specifications. This M16/M4 carrier includes the proper Mil-Spec gas key. Gas key is chrome lined and heat treated per GI specifications. Gas key is secured to carrier via USGI domestic mfg Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked per Mil-Specs. These properly hardened parts ensure a strong staking and proper gas system functioning.

The bolt assembly is machined from the correct Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158® steel, shot peened for increased strength, includes tool steel machined extractor and ejector, BCM Extractor Spring, and is HPT (High Pressure Tested) and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected).

Prior to shipping, all BCM Bolt Carrier Groups are test fired for function. As such, the Bolt Carrier Group will show handling marks consistent with these quality control procedures.

...M16 bolt carriers are not designed and intended solely and exclusively for use in converting a weapon into a machinegun and are not any combination of parts from which a machinegun can be assembled. Further, an M16 bolt carrier is not a firearm as defined in the GCA or a machinegun as defined in the NFA. An M16 bolt carrier is simply a machinegun part and as such its domestic sale and possession is unregulated under the Federal firearms laws. It is not unlawful to utilize a M16 machinegun bolt carrier in a semiautomatic AR15 type rifle.

    this bcg is great

    im very pleased with the bcg it was shipped and arrived surprisingly fast the first thing I did was disassemble it to clean it from the test fires properly in doing this I found the parts are fitted very tightly (which is good) I got it clean and put a dab of tetra lube on it and it has not failed me yet plus it looks great

    This is how they should all be. Period.

    I received my BCM bolt carrier group today, and without a doubt it is one of the finest milspec BCG's on the market, bar none. Proper grade-8 hardware, correctly staked gas key, excellent chrome lining, C158 bolt steel, high pressure AND mag particle inspected - for $169. Why pay more? There are tons of other bolt carrier groups out there that cost more, either because they are "lightened" (why?), "balanced" (huh?), have some proprietary bolt lug profile, or coated in some fancy whizbang go-fast self lubricated nonsense that might be slightly easier to clean...but the carriers probably aren't made of 8610, the bolts probably aren't made of C158 and HP/MPI'd, and the rest of the dimensions probably aren't to spec.

    If you want .mil without paying $200+ for a second or third tier Colt BCG, buy BCM.

    Never fails

    This BCG is rock solid. Properly staked key, MPI/HP tested, what more do you want? I haven't had any issues with it yet.

    Edited to add after owning for some time now, still going strong, no issues at all but some slight wear on the cam pin as to be expected. This thing is unstoppable!!! They lowered the price $20 too since I bought it. A+, I don't think there is a better milspec bolt out there.

    After watching a few of my buddies experience FTL issues with their more affordable (cheaper) BCG's I'm glad I purchased this one. I've had one FTL but at the fault of a crappy magazine. All future rifles I build will have this BCG.

    BCM IS A WINNER!!!

    Just plain flawless! I can't find a defect anywhere! It has some very minor marks and some brass residue and minor powder fouling from the test firing, but it cleaned up great. I would rather have to clean it knowing it has been test fired, HP tested, and MPI inspected, than not clean it and wonder if it will stand the test of time. Excellent job Bravo Company, you have a very satisfied customer.
